Eastman, Georgia — The Eastman community is mourning the passing of Justin Bart Jones, 44, who died on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Born on June 5, 1981, in Dublin, Georgia, he lived a life grounded in family ties, friendship, and a love for simple, meaningful pursuits.

Jones was a member of Eastman First Baptist Church and graduated with honors from Dodge County High School in 2000. He later attended Middle Georgia College, continuing his education before entering the workforce. Throughout his life, he was recognized for his hardworking attitude, humility, and strong relationships with those around him.

He spent several years in Atlanta, where he worked with a moving company before returning to Eastman in the late 2000s to be closer to his family. After returning home, he built a long career in construction, contributing his skills to companies such as Graham & Studstill Construction and R & D Concrete. He also valued the opportunity to work alongside his close friend Daniel Williams, a partnership that reflected his appreciation for loyalty and teamwork.
